Optics Lab

In the Optics Lab students learn about photonics and optoelectronics. This area of study is concerned with circuits which use photons instead of electrons to transmit and analyze information. The lab is equipped with several lasers, Newport optical test equipment and a Hewlett Packard Optical Frequency Spectrum Analyzer.
